Amasiko FC now have Football boots!

The street children were delighted this week to receive football boots thanks to generous Alongside Africa supporters. The rest of the trip is en-route to Uganda together with some new footballs.

Football is a great motivator and team builder for the street children and the exercise helps them to overcome their addiction

The street children at Amasiko have now received their first ever set of football kit, and they couldn’t be prouder! Football means so much to these children – it gives them a sense of self-worth, an activity that keeps them occupied during the day and a sense of belonging, whilst the exercise helps them to deal with their addictions.
