After a very busy few months we wanted to update you on all that is going on with our work, both here and in Uganda. There are many stories to tell in this edition, from our new online craft shop to news of a storm that ripped the roofs off of the temporary classrooms of the Graeme Naish School.
If you are touched by any of our work and would like to get involved we would love to hear from you. Everyone can play a part, no matter what your skills – all you need is some time, commitment and a passion to help those who have so much less than us. We have new roles that we are looking for people to fill.
For those of you who feel inspired to undertake the trip of a lifetime, we will be offering the chance of joining us on a trip to Uganda next year. Whether you are in the UK, the US, Norway or anywhere else in the world we would love to introduce you to our very special NGO partners and the people they serve, who together inspire all that we do.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people that have worked tirelessly with us over this past year to help Alongside Africa make the difference that it does in providing opportunities rather than aid to those who have so much less than we do. On behalf of the Board, our partners and all those who benefit from our work in Uganda I would like to thank you, our supporters, for making such a difference. I wish you and your families a happy Christmas and a healthy and happy 2014. Lawrance – Chairman Alongside Africa
